Senior Test Engineer - Central Manchester - £50,000

The Company:
Lorien Global are working with an established brand based in Manchester, known for delivering cutting-edge technology to an evolving market. With innovation at its core, the company is now searching for a Senior Test Engineer to drive QA forwards.



The Role:
You will be a Senior Test Engineer with a team of software engineers to setup up the manual QA function within the team. You will be expected to create detailed test plans, review test cases, putting best practices in place. The testing will be across the various digital platforms the team manage, such as internal and external facing applications.

Skill Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5years experience in Software testing including web and mobile
• Demonstrable experience in preparing testing documentation (plans, scripts, reports and strategy)
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Proven experience working with regular releases (2-week sprints)
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Desirable experience testing 3rd party feed data

The Offer:

• Base salary up to £50,000
• Bonus scheme and enhanced company pension
• 25 days holiday, with options to buy or sell additional days
• Hybrid model (2 days a week in Manchester office)
