Lead Product Designer - Design Systems, Figma, UI, UX

Oliver Bernard have once again partnered with a leading Manchester based Fin Tech, who are scaling their design function, and are looking for a highly skilled Design System Lead, to join the team, and ensure their Design Systems is usable, scalable, well documented, adopted across the business, and improved continuously based on data, user feedback, and industry standards.

This role has a wide variety of responsibilities, including Design System ownership & governance, collaboration & integration with teams across the business, the adoption and rollout of the design system across the design teams, and User-Research and Data informed design.

• Significant experience in interaction and UI design, supported by a portfolio that showcases leadership in developing and evolving Design Systems.
• Advanced, expert-level capability in Figma.
• Strong UI design skills with meticulous attention to detail and visual precision.
• Experience collaborating within Agile development teams.
• Background in leading, mentoring, and supporting the growth of other designers.
• Confident facilitator with the ability to plan and run effective workshops.

Salary - Pays £60k-£75k depending on skills and experience

Hybrid working - 3-days a week required in Central Manchester
