Overview

The purpose of this role is to implement and execute SEO initiatives, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.

Role Summary

The SEO Executive plays a key role in supporting the delivery of data-driven search strategies that improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions for clients. This position involves hands-on execution of SEO tasks, detailed analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to implement best practices in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and eager to grow their expertise within a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on organic performance across client websites, highlighting progress, insights, and growth from implemented on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with development teams to resolve site issues impacting crawlability, indexation, and overall search performance.
  • Assist with content optimization, ensuring all copy is aligned with keyword targets, brand voice, and search best practices.
  • Analyze SEO data and present findings clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients, helping to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Stay current with the latest SEO, digital marketing, and search engine trends, and share key insights with the wider team.
  • Collaborate across disciplines, including content, analytics, and paid media teams, to support integrated marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of internal processes and tools that improve SEO delivery and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications + Skills
  • Previous hands-on experience working with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Ahrefs, STAT, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Microsoft SharePoint, with the ability to extract and interpret data effectively.
  • Strong understanding of core SEO principles, including keyword targeting, technical optimization, and link acquisition fundamentals.
  • Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach, capable of translating data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in diverse, collaborative team environments, adapting to different work styles and supporting cross-functional projects.
  • A proactive, all-hands-on-deck mindset, demonstrating initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as Word Press, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
  • Knowledge of local and international SEO best practices.
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or SEO-specific training programs.
