You will work with customers to manage their cloud spend using the Fin Ops framework. You will work with several customers and support them through regular reviews. Your goal is to help customers get the most value from the Cloud, improve and enhance the Fin Ops offering at Softcat, and to mentor and train the next generation of Fin Ops Analysts.

• Form trusted advisor relationships with enterprise‑scale clients.
• Act as an SME for Fin Ops within Softcat.
• Set long‑term goals with customers, develop strategies to achieve them, and lead initiatives to drive Fin Ops adoption across the organization.
• Utilise industry‑leading cloud management tooling and native tooling to proactively leverage Fin Ops data.
• Provide detailed reporting around cost visibility and optimisation, ensuring that insights reach the right stakeholders on the client side.
• Provide break/fix support for industry‑leading cloud management solutions and leverage the ticketing system (Service Now).
• Continuously improve Fin Ops processes and practices, including identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and staying current with industry trends and development.
• Develop and drive the service forward, proactively identifying efficiency opportunities within the team.
• Run 1‑to‑1s with members of the team.

• Fin Ops Practitioner Certification is required (Fin Ops Certified Engineer desired).
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP. Certified in: AZ900, AWS Certified Practitioner, AZ104 (desired), AWS – Certified Solutions Architect (desired).
• Extensive experience around multi‑cloud cost optimisation.
• Experience with cloud cost management tooling (Cloud Health, Cloudability, Flexera, and native tools).
• Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders within an enterprise customer.
• Proactively use your own skillset and that of the team to solve problems and challenges while supporting more junior members of the team.
• Ownership of your learning and development.
