Senior Data Architect

SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT £70K-£87.5K LONDON This is a senior leadership opportunity for a Senior Data Architect to shape complex data programmes within a consulting-led, client-facing environment. The role offers a balance of strategic influence, hands-on architectural design and visible impact across large-scale data transformations. Data architecture sits at the core of their delivery, supporting modernisation, regulatory change and advanced analytics. The business has a strong internal data community and promotes progression based on performance rather than tenure.

THE ROLE Lead the design of enterprise-scale data architectures aligned to business and regulatory requirements. Translate complex client needs into robust, scalable data models and platform designs. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping data strategy and architecture road-maps. Collaborate with engineering, analytics and cloud teams to ensure designs are delivered effectively. Support governance, data quality and lineage frameworks across client environments.

Contribute to internal best practice, standards and capability building within data architecture. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong experience designing end-to-end data architectures in complex, enterprise environments. Proven ability to operate in client-facing roles, communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Expertise across modern data platforms, including cloud-based data architectures. Solid understanding of data modelling, integration patterns and architectural governance. Comfortable working across multiple projects and adapting to different client contexts.
