Platform Engineer​/DevOps Engineer. LilyLifestyle

We are currently working with a growing technology business in the healthcare software space who are looking to add a Platform Engineer / Dev Ops Engineer to their engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and working in a modern cloud-native environment.

The business is investing heavily in new cloud-based products and platforms, and they re looking for an engineer who can help scale and improve the environments that support both development and production systems.

You ll be working closely with software engineering teams to:

• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Support Kubernetes-based environments and containerised applications
• Enhance platform reliability, monitoring, and observability
• Troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues
• Contribute to infrastructure security and operational best practices
• Drive continuous improvement across tooling and platform operations

This is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership and the opportunity to influence how platforms are built and operated moving forward.

• Kubernetes
• Linux
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git Ops / Argo CD
• Bitbucket & Bamboo
• Mongo
  
  DB / PostgreSQL
• Kafka
• Open Search
• Bash / Power Shell scripting
• Cloud infrastructure

They re open to candidates from Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or strong Infrastructure backgrounds.

Key experience includes:

• Commercial experience in a Dev Ops, Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation
• Exposure to cloud-hosted infrastructure
• Kubernetes/container experience
• Scripting/automation experience
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and operational support

Experience with Git Ops, Argo CD, Kafka, or database platforms would be beneficial but isn t essential.
