ROLE

Our IT Strategy & Performance team is one of the fastest growing teams in the Business Technology practice. We are structured across three core disciplines:
Technology Strategy, IT Cost & Value, and IT Mergers and Acquisitions. We are seeking Senior and Managing Consultant level candidates with breadth of experience to deliver across these disciplines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Technology Strategy and IT Cost & Value, with IT M&A experience desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead work streams and project teams in complex technology engagements, including Technology Strategy & Transformation and technology cost transformation.
  • Drive cultural and organisational change, aligning IT and business stakeholders around strategy, cost and value objectives.
  • Advise clients on translating complex technical findings into actionable commercial insights and deliverable strategies, focusing on value.
  • Contribute to the development of our offerings and support capability building within the IT Performance team, including proposal and win strategy development.
  • Provide leadership on emerging technologies and digital capabilities: AI, advanced analytics, cybersecurity and cloud-native architectures – evaluating scalability, interoperability and alignment with the client’s long‑term strategy.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND PERSONAL GROWTH
  • Business Development – Lead or contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development, operations, recruitment and team activities.
  • Learning & Development – Training to support career development and skills demand, including certifications.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Consulting experience (4+ years) across Technology Strategy and/or IT Cost & Value.
  • Strong track record delivering on Digital Strategy & Transformation projects and/or technology cost transformation.
  • Technical and strategic expertise across Technology Strategy, Target Operating Model Design, Transformation Road mapping, Business‑IT Alignment, IT Financial Management, Total Cost of Ownership, Application Portfolio Rationalisation, Benchmarking and Optimisation.
  • Experience managing teams/work streams in complex delivery environments and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify real‑world application of technology to generate value from technology investments.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
  • Current or former employee of a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background, including in-house strategy functions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a matrixed organisation, securing support from peers for consulting solutions.
  • Experience supporting proposition building and growth.
  • Business development experience – utilising both organisational relationships and personal network to generate revenue.
