They're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in the evolution of their data platform, driving innovation and delivering high-quality data solutions across the business. This role will be instrumental in migrating their existing data warehouse to a modern AWS-based ecosystem while developing cutting‑edge real‑time data solutions that support automation and business intelligence.

What you’ll do:
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS technologies such as Glue, Lambda, S3, and Redshift.
  • Playing a key role in the migration of their existing SQL Server data warehouse to a modern AWS-based architecture.
  • Developing data quality frameworks, validation processes, and monitoring solutions to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and implement data lakehouse and data warehousing solutions that support current and future business needs.
  • Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver data products that drive business value.
  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support the wider development of the Data Engineering function.
Who you are:
  • Strong hands on experience with AWS services including Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and EMR.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Proven experience designing and building data pipelines and ETL solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and modern data architecture patterns.
  • Experience with pipeline orchestration and workflow management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting or delivering the migration of data platforms from on‑premises environments to cloud‑based infrastructure is highly desirable.
