Senior Business Analyst - IT and Business

James Adams is currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to joined a leading professional services client in Manchester. This is a permanent role working 2 days onsite 3 days from home.

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their IT function. This role will support the delivery of technology change by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

You will work closely with product, technology and delivery teams to define requirements, support solution design and ensure successful outcomes. The role covers both tactical delivery work and higher level analysis on larger initiatives, including process and change impact assessment.

• Gather, document and manage functional and non functional requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and define success criteria.
• Produce process maps and business models to support delivery and change adoption.
• Support delivery teams by maintaining clear, traceable requirements.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions where required.

• Proven experience in a Business Analyst role within a complex, global enterprise environment.
• Strong analysis skills including requirements definition and process mapping.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and cross functional teams.
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  
  Hands on experience with tools such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
• Agile or Scrum certification is desirable but not essential.
