We're recruiting on behalf of a leading technology-driven organisation to find a Senior DBA to support the delivery, maintenance and optimisation of secure, scalable, and high-performing database environments. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring database reliability, automation, resilience, and operational excellence across business-critical platforms

.Working closely with DBA, Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, SRE and Development teams, you will design, implement and support robust database solutions while driving performance improvements and automation initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain production and non-production database environments
• Monitor and optimise performance, replication, backups and high-availability solution
• Troubleshoot complex database, infrastructure and capacity issues
• Implement upgrades, patching and security best practices
• Develop automation for provisioning, deployment and ongoing maintenance
• Support Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
