ROLE

As a Senior Manager with extensive expertise in Programme and Portfolio Management, you will establish and deliver complex client business transformation initiatives across a variety of sectors and drive the enhancement of our service offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leading the shaping, planning, and delivery of medium and large scale, complex client business transformation initiatives.
  • Managing all aspects of client engagements, including budgets, resource profile, billing and contracts.
  • Developing delivery strategies and new offerings through the combination of existing assets or adopting new insights to enhance our programme leadership and P3O services through automation, advanced tooling, and tailored methodologies.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the Programme and Change Practice, enacting and delivering on our current strategy.
  • Contributing to the development of internal training pathways to upskill consultants in areas such as automation, tooling, and P3M methodologies.
  • Structuring and leading teams on client delivery, and mentoring (coaching) junior team members to enable capability development and growth.
ROLE‑DIVERSIFIED ACTIVITIES
  • Business Development – leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, multi‑supplier transformation initiatives across various industries, including programme governance, stakeholder management, and risk management.
  • Commercial acumen to determine the best way to structure a deal for mutual benefit to clients and Capgemini; ability to identify opportunities to enhance our programme leadership and P3O services through automation, advanced tooling, and tailored methodologies; proven ability to foster and grow client relationships.
  • Experience with multiple delivery approaches and methodologies, particularly hybrid delivery models combining traditional PMO approaches with Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with automation solutions, including workflow automation, AI resource augmentation, AI‑driven reporting, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA); ability to assess and implement tools that drive efficiency in P3M and P3O processes.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Hold relevant P3M qualifications
    • MSP, MoP, and/or P3O from Axelos
    • PMQ, PPQ and/or ChPP from APM
    • PMP and/or PgMP from PMI
    • PROSCI or APMG qualifications
    • PRINCE2 Practitioner or agile equivalents
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and leading the transition from sales into delivery.
  • Business development: generate approximately £1m of consulting revenues, utilising the organisation’s broader pre‑existing relationships, company relationships and your own network.
  • Hold or be willing and eligible to obtain UK security vetting status of Security Check (SC) within 6 months.
