The Role Design, build, and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines to create reliable, analysis-ready datasets Develop and own data models and outputs that support reporting and advanced analytics Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable data solutions Improve data quality, governance, and documentation across the data platform Promote best practices in analytics engineering and support the wider team in adopting them Contribute to the evolution of the data architecture as the platform continues to scale Your Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience in analytics engineering or working closely with data analytics teams Advanced SQL skills within modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Big Query, or Databricks Experience building and automating data pipelines and workflows Working knowledge of dbt for data transformation Proficiency in Python for data manipulation or engineering tasks Experience delivering data to BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms Understanding of data modelling principles and data warehouse design Collaborative mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
