We're growing, and we're looking for a Solution Engineer to help us take that story to market.

The Role

As a Solution Engineer, you'll be a critical part of our commercial team - the technical voice in the room during some of our most important customer conversations. You'll work closely with our sales and commercial leads to qualify opportunities, understand customer challenges, and design compelling solutions that win.

This is a presales role with real influence. You'll shape how prospects experience our company from the first discovery call through to proposal and close and your work will directly impact the quality of what we deliver for customers post-sale.

What You'll Do
  • Lead technical discovery — Run structured requirements workshops with CX, IT, and operations stakeholders to understand current-state challenges, technical environments, and business objectives.
  • Deliver compelling demos — Own and deliver tailored demonstrations of our product, and our broader solution portfolio, adapting to each customer's context and priorities.
  • Design solutions — Translate customer requirements into clear, commercially viable solution architectures that leverage Twilio's CPaaS, CCaaS, and UCaaS capabilities alongside our own platform and services.
  • Produce winning proposals — Write and contribute to RFP responses, technical proposals, statements of work, and solution overviews that are accurate, differentiated, and outcome-focused.
  • Be the technical bridge — Work alongside Account Executives and the Commercial Director to ensure technical credibility throughout the sales cycle, and hand over cleanly to delivery teams once a deal is won.
  • Support marketing and events — Occasionally represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer round tables as a subject matter expert.
  • Feed back to product — Capture market intelligence, common objections, and capability gaps to inform the RACE product roadmap and wider go-to-market strategy.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in a presales or solution engineering role, ideally within a partner, reseller, or technology vendor environment.
  • Deep knowledge across CCaaS, CX, UCaaS, and CPaaS - you understand the landscape, the vendors, and the real-world challenges customers face.
  • Proven ability to run discovery sessions and capture structured requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A track record of delivering engaging, high-quality product and solution demos that move deals forward.
  • Strong written skills and able to produce clear, persuasive technical proposals and RFP responses without heavy editing.
  • Comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior decision-makers (CX Directors, CTOs, COOs, IT Directors).
  • Collaborative by nature - you work well with sales, delivery, and product teams and know how to support a deal without owning it entirely.
  • Experience working with or selling Twilio products (Flex, Voice, Messaging, Verify, or similar) is highly desirable.
