Data Engineering
Overview
Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in Manchester. We are recruiting a Data Engineer for an internationally established business that is investing heavily in its data capability. The company is building a new enterprise data platform using Microsoft Fabric, and this role will join the programme at an early stage. Rather than inheriting a finished environment, you will help develop the pipelines, data models and engineering standards that will support reporting, analytics and future AI initiatives across the organisation.
You will be working as part of a wider digital transformation programme within a global business operating across more than 30 countries. The platform has strong internal backing and is being designed as a long-term, scalable data capability rather than a short-term implementation project.
You will design and build ETL and ELT pipelines, develop data models within Microsoft Fabric and contribute to the technical standards used across the platform.
You will work closely with architects, analysts and other technology teams to ensure data is reliable, well structured and suitable for use across reporting, analytics and AI.
