Technical Data Lead – Enterprise Data Platform | Manchester | 12 Months

I'm currently recruiting for a Technical Data Lead to join a major Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) transformation programme with a leading UK financial services organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical design and delivery of how business applications consume data from a new enterprise-wide data platform.

• Lead the technical design for consumption of the Enterprise Data Platform.
• Drive solution architecture and design across multiple engineering teams.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data management and governance standards.
• Manage complex technical dependencies across large transformation programmes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

• Delivering Medallion Architecture on modern data platforms (essential)
• Enterprise Data Platforms / Lakehouse architectures
• Data governance and data management controls
• Managing cross-functional technical dependencies and stakeholders
• Databricks
• Microsoft Fabric
• SQL
• Python

Previous experience within Banking or Financial Services is highly desirable.
