Position: User Researcher Consultant (SC Eligible)

My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Architecture/Transformation & Next Gen AI Solutions, with offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow providing a flexi working model (option of remote first or hybrid + ad hoc client site visits when required).

They are looking for a permanent User Researcher Consultant (Mid & Senior level) to join a rapidly growing team, working across multiple Digital Transformation projects within Government, Finance, Retail & Energy sectors.

Mid level budget: up to £55000 + 10% pension + 25 days AL (buy or sell up to 5 additional days) + flexi working

Senior level budget: up to £68000 + 10% pension + 25 days AL (buy or sell up to 5 additional days) + flexi working

Primary skills and experience required:

  • Must be eligible for SC Clearance
  • Hands-on experience of leading user research, using behavioural and attitudinal methods and knowing when to apply them appropriately.
  • Experience across multiple phases of a product or service lifecycle, from discovery and exploration through to design and delivery.
  • Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, using GDS design principles
  • Strong storytelling, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary, agile teams where you’ve led the user research and influenced the design of a product or service through the insights you’ve gathered.
  • Familiarity with using prototypes to test hypotheses, assumptions and validate user journeys.
  • Understanding of a range of tools and practices for in-person and remote research.
