IT Service Transition Manager

Salary: £59,000 - 60,700 per year

• Solid experience in IT Service Transition, not just BAU IT Service Management or IT Project Delivery
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM best practice, with ITIL certification
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing complex transitions across multiple teams
• PRINCE2, Agile, or experience within a large or regulated organisation

• Lead end-to-end service transition activities across multiple enterprise-level projects
• Assess service readiness and manage service acceptance
• Chair go-live readiness meetings and coordinate successful handovers
• Work closely with Project Managers, Service Owners, and operational teams
• Identify and manage transition risks, issues, and dependencies
• Drive continuous improvement across service transition processes

We are offering a 24-month fixed-term contract for an experienced Service Transition Lead to join our enterprise technology team in Manchester on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of two days in the office. This role comes with a salary of £59,000 to £60,700, a 35-hour working week, and other excellent benefits. You will have the opportunity to shape and improve IT Service Transition within a collaborative enterprise-level environment, supporting the successful transition of new and changed IT services into live operation from day one.
