Technical Support Engineer Lead - EV Charging - Greater Manchester (Hybrid) - £50k
Role: Technical Support Engineer Lead
Location: Greater Manchester | Full-Time
Salary: up to £50k + package
*** Relocation support available (up to £3,000) for the right candidate
You'll be the technical backbone connecting the engineering team and customer service, the person who gets called in when a fault needs properly diagnosing, a returned product needs investigating, or a new charger needs putting through its paces before it reaches a customer. Rather than just closing the ticket in front of you, you'll be looking for the root cause, and helping make sure the same issue doesn't keep coming back.
It's a varied role: hands-on testing one day, supporting a customer service escalation the next, working with engineering to feed learnings back into the product. If you like getting to the bottom of a problem rather than just managing around it, this is built for that.

Backed by ambitious growth plans, significant investment and a collaborative culture, the organisation is continuing to expand its technical team to support increasing demand across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where you'll play a key role in supporting the next generation of EV charging products whilst helping deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join a growing technical team, providing expert support across product testing, diagnostics, technical escalations and field-based support.

This is a varied role combining office-based technical support with occasional site visits, giving you the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle from installation through to testing and continuous improvement.
This position would suit someone with previous experience within EV charging, electrical products, electrical installation or technical support who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers and improving products.

- Work closely with engineering, product and customer service teams to improve the overall customer experience.
