I am working with an insure tech business who have been a fore of the general insurance and mortgage industry for the best part of 20 years.
Their mission is to revolutionise this space through data-driven strategies and cutting-edge technology. With the data team at the heart of this transformation, they are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will use the latest tools and tech to simplify the insurance and mortgage process for their customers.
The role
As a Senior Data Engineer you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data infrastructure with a particular focus on Azure Data Platform technologies. Collaborating across teams, you'll ensure systems are robust, scalable and optimised for advanced analytics and reporting.
What you'll be doing
You will build and optimise data architecture to support growth and business needs.You will develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.You will design and manage Azure SQL databases.You will create insightful reports and dashboards using PowerBI.You will collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth system integration.You will contribute to the development of APIs and functions apps where required.What they are looking for
Expertise with Azure Data Platform technologies, including Data Factory and Databricks.Skilled with PowerBI for data visualisation and reporting.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.Experience with CI/CD and API development would be a real nice to have but by no means essential.Tech Stack:
