AboutThe Role
You’ll support the Insight, Intelligence and Performance team to enable the organisation to operate as a data‑driven, intelligence‑led business. By combining strategic business partnering with hands‑on business intelligence delivery, you’ll ensure high‑quality data, reporting and insight are available, trusted and used effectively to inform decision‑making. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop and maintain reporting and BI solutions, and provide clear, actionable insight that drives performance, service improvement and organisational success.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Provide performance analysis, insight and challenge to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable reports, dashboards and recommendations.
- Partner with business areas to understand priorities, performance issues and reporting requirements.
- Lead the design, development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting and analytical solutions.
- Deliver accurate and timely performance reporting, ensuring robust data validation and quality assurance.
- Maintain KPI frameworks, definitions and governance standards across the organisation.
- Drive data quality improvements and provide assurance on the accuracy and integrity of performance information.
- Manage and optimise reporting systems, datasets, data models and automated processes using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Power Query, DAX and Power Automate.
- Produce analysis for regulatory, benchmarking and ad‑hoc reporting requirements.
- Promote a data‑driven culture by supporting colleagues, sharing expertise and encouraging effective use of data and insight.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting standards, tools and business intelligence practices.
We're after someone who has:
- Experience in a business partnering, insight or BI role, with a track record of working closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and influence decision making
- Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful, actionable insight
- Proven experience of designing and delivering dashboards, reporting frameworks and data visualisations, using data storytelling techniques to engage audiences, clearly communicate performance and drive action, alongside conducting deep‑dive analysis
