Job Description & How to Apply Below
You’re already making the big technical calls. How much say do you have over what happens next?
This position gives you ownership of an established Azure platform, a small expert team of Platform & Dev Ops engineers to lead.
You’ll set the technical direction and build alongside them. Architecture, infrastructure as code, performance and cloud spend are all yours to get into.
A big part of the work is improving how the platform runs: understanding API health, catching performance issues early and using AI to investigate incidents and automate recurring fixes.
What we need:
• Strong Azure architecture and hands-on platform engineering.
• IaC, automation and secure CI/CD.
• Experience improving reliability, performance and cloud costs.
• Someone engineers can turn to for practical technical guidance.
Azure, Entra , Key Vault and Azure Dev Ops underpin the environment. Practical experience with AI-led operations would be useful.
What you get:
£80–90k, ownership of the platform’s direction and the scope to put your decisions into production.
Could suit a Lead or Principal Platform Engineer ready to take responsibility for the function, or a hands-on Platform Manager
