Graduate Data Scientist

You’ll work with highly cerebral, down-to-earth colleagues on projects you won’t find anywhere else, and you’ll have the chance to travel across Europe as part of the role.

You’ll turn structured and unstructured data into models that drive real decisions across multiple European portfolios:

• Building propensity-to-pay forecasts and other predictive and descriptive models
• Owning the full model lifecycle: modelling, scoring and monitoring across a range of data sources
• Getting stuck into new projects, including NLP
• Working across European portfolios, from a large European bank to a smaller Italian FS client
• Presenting insight to colleagues and showing them what the data is really saying

• Experience in a Data Science role with a real focus on modelling and coding
• Strong Python and SQL
• Hands‑on modelling techniques such as CHAID, cluster analysis, Bayesian algorithms, neural networks and MARS
• An open mind about where you’ve come from; this role is industry-agnostic
• Experience with visualisation tools.

Data Lake, Azure, Databricks, Python, ML, SQL, SAS and Snowflake. It’s a cutting-edge stack with plenty of room to experiment.
