Job Description About Taprave Taprave helps businesses improve their marketing and operations through digital services and practical technology.

We are expanding our use of AI to build useful tools for our own teams and clients, alongside training that helps people use these technologies confidently. We also occasionally organise free AI training for our communities.

We are looking for someone who can build working solutions, explain how they work and teach others to use and maintain them.

The role

You will use tools such as Lovable, Claude Code and Codex to develop internal applications, client tools and software prototypes. You will also design and deliver practical training for clients, their teams and community participants.

Projects could include dashboards, enquiry-management tools, internal portals, reporting applications and workflow utilities. You will take work from an initial problem through to a tested solution, documentation and user training.

You must be comfortable inspecting and troubleshooting what AI tools produce, understanding their limitations and recognising when specialist technical support is needed.

Key responsibilities

Build and implement practical tools
- Work with colleagues and clients to understand problems, user needs and project requirements.

- Assess whether an existing product, automation or custom application is the most suitable solution.

- Use Lovable, Claude Code, Codex and related tools to build prototypes and agreed software solutions.

- Configure interfaces, databases, integrations and user access appropriate to the project.

- Review generated code, troubleshoot errors and test functionality.

- Use version control and maintain clear records of changes.

- Prepare tools for deployment, coordinating technical review where needed.

- Document setup, operation, limitations and ongoing maintenance requirements.

- Support users after handover and resolve issues within the agreed scope.

Design and deliver client training
- Assess participants’ starting knowledge and agree practical learning objectives.

- Develop workshops on using AI tools to solve business problems and build useful applications.

- Teach participants how to define requirements, write clear instructions, test outputs and improve results.

- Explain how to use Lovable, Claude Code and Codex appropriately, including their limitations.

- Deliver demonstrations, guided exercises and sessions using relevant business examples.

- Create reusable training materials, sample projects, exercises and user guides.

- Help client teams adopt completed tools within their everyday work.

- Evaluate learning through practical tasks and participant feedback.

Deliver community AI sessions
- Plan and deliver occasional free AI workshops organised by Taprave.

- Adapt sessions for beginners and people with different levels of digital confidence.

- Use accessible language and practical demonstrations.

- Help participants understand safe use, privacy, accuracy and when to check AI-generated outputs.

- Gather feedback and improve future sessions.

Quality and responsible delivery
- Use synthetic or appropriately anonymised information in demonstrations.

- Protect credentials and client data when working with AI development tools.

- Check access controls and relevant security requirements before releasing applications.

- Identify unreliable outputs, technical limitations and maintenance risks.

- Explain clearly whether a solution is a prototype, a pilot or ready for its agreed operational use.
