Role

Purpose:

You will join the team in the National Underwriting Centre (NUC) in delivering a high-quality service to our underwriters and brokers whilst practicing and developing technical capability and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.

This is a key role created to support the P&C team in line with Chubb’s ambitious growth plans across the UKI and Commercial Insurance Practice. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the underwriting

• Assist in the Underwriting and Processing of renewable P&C business in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan
• Manage Mid Term Adjustments and General Queries from brokers
• Prepare and update Multinational Request Forms to allow quotations from our Global Servicing Team
• Support in the booking of policy premiums
• Update systems with key property information to allow us to understand exposures
• Support the Underwriters through liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders
• To meet company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business and compliance issues.
• Develop your knowledge and understanding of P&C Underwriting and Chubbs appetite
• To work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company
