IPS Group is working with a modern, specialist MGA backed by an International Insurance Organisation to recruit a Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join their collaborative team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically focused underwriter to specialise in PI, working purely on new business submissions via an e-trade platform.

You will assess and underwrite new Professional Indemnity business submitted via the e-trade system, making informed risk decisions and ensuring policies are set up efficiently. The role is desk-based, with a strong focus on underwriting and supporting brokers with timely and accurate decision-making. You will work closely with the underwriting team and brokers to maintain portfolio quality and deliver a high standard of service.

We are looking for individuals with experience in Professional Indemnity underwriting, ideally from an MGA, insurer, or broking background. Strong knowledge of e-trade platforms, risk assessment, and policy wording is essential, along with attention to detail and a proactive approach to new business submissions.
