We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Corporate Team
. This role will be based in our Manchester office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
Corporate Client Advisor (Account Handler)
This role is ideal for someone with experience in Commercial, Corporate, Public Sector, or Private Client insurance—whether in an Account Handler or Client Advisor role, or even someone within Claims or Underwriting looking to move into an Account Handler role. It could also suit a recent Graduate looking to start a career within insurance.
In this position, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, handling daily tasks such as renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and addressing client enquiries to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Responsibilities- Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid‑term changes to risk.
- Request and review underwriting information on behalf of Corporate clients and understand their requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team.
- Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers.
- Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals.
- Produce and/or request insurer documentation.
- Review and comment on indemnity and insurance clauses.
- Experience and knowledge of corporate/commercial insurance policies and programs.
- Demonstrable insurance experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans.
- Dynamic with previous client‑facing experience.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
- Cert CII qualified is desirable.
