Our Private Clients team helps high net-worth individuals protect some of their most valuable possessions. From luxury homes and high-performance vehicles to unique and high-value assets, the team works closely with clients to understand their needs and arrange tailored insurance solutions.

Join our energetic and high-performing team and learn how to build trusted client relationships, provide an exceptional service and help people protect the things that matter most to them. You’ll gain hands-on experience across high net-worth motor and home insurance while working alongside experienced colleagues, insurers and underwriters.

You’ll join Howden on a permanent role and complete an 18-month development programme designed to develop your technical knowledge, professional skills and confidence to kick start your career.
** What you’ll be doing?
** You will begin with a structured induction before joining our Private Clients team, where you will work alongside experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibility.

During the programme, you'll:
* Learn the foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance, and how an Account Handler supports clients.
* Build your confidence speaking with clients and understanding their individual insurance needs.
* Help the team manage communications with insurers and underwriters to find appropriate insurance solutions for clients.
* Learn how to manage client enquiries and provide clear, accurate information.
* Learn how amendments to insurance policies are managed as well as the policy renewals process.
* Develop strong relationships and provide a professional and personal service.
* Support with maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
