Salary: £26,000 per year

Job Overview

Admission coordinator is responsible for translation & proofreading activities, ensuring quality work is delivered; providing assistance to the Admissions Officer in providing application advice and interview preparation advice for high-end applicants as well as the management of freelancers.

The key tasks include but are not limited to:

• Join WeChat application groups to address students’ questions regarding application documents.
• Assist students with the writing, translation, and editing personal statements, letters of recommendation, and cover letters
• Be responsible for translation and proof-reading services both internally and externally
• Assure quality work is delivered consistently and meets the required standard;
• Conduct brainstorming sessions and provide interview preparation support.
• Ensure all tasks meet given deadlines with quick turnaround time;
• Be responsible for translations quality checks for UKEC branches and provide feedback
• Coordinate and conduct translator recruitment tests for PAC and UKEC branches;
• Oversee, maintain, recruit, and train a high-quality freelancing translation and proof-reading team;
• Ensure good collaboration and effective communication across all department;
• Carry out other tasks as delegated by line manager
