Our Court of Protection department is a specialised department dedicated to dealing with the management of the property and financial affairs together with health and welfare decisions of people who lack the ability to deal with such matters themselves.

We are currently looking for a Solicitor (0-4 years PQE) to join our Court of Protection department in Manchester.

• The day‑to‑day management of clients' property and affairs; managing their assets and ensuring you act within their best interests at all times.
• Assist Court of Protection Deputies in meeting clients' specific needs and requirements.
• Ensure that an audit trail is produced and available on all casework undertaken with time being recorded accordingly.
• Manage your own caseload while assisting Deputies on higher value matters; work using your own initiative and as part of a team.

• Experience in Court of Protection matters
• Excellent understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
• Sound technical ability
• High level organisational skills
• Personable and confident
• Team player
