A leading Manchester law firm is seeking to appoint a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its highly regarded residential property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor with a genuine interest in residential real estate to build a long‑term career within a market‑leading practice, acting for a high‑quality client base on a broad range of residential property matters.
An established and highly reputable teamThe residential property department enjoys an excellent national reputation and advises clients across the UK. The Manchester team works closely with colleagues in Private Client, Corporate, Commercial Property and Restructuring, providing comprehensive residential property support across the firm.
The team acts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including private individuals, high‑net‑worth investors and national referrers, ensuring a consistent flow of high‑quality work. There is also close collaboration with the development and commercial property teams on plot sales and larger residential property projects.
A busy caseload of quality residential property workYou will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish, including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Residential refinancing transactions
- Acting for high‑street mortgage lenders
- Advising on title issues and property‑related risks
- Preparing and signing lender Certificates of Title
- Supporting colleagues on residential property matters across the firm
Experience of acting for high‑net‑worth individuals, investors or on high‑value transactions would be advantageous, as would any exposure to development or commercial finance work, although this is not essential.
Experienced candidatesThis role is suited to a Residential Property Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
, who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail
- Confidence advising clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
- A professional, proactive and client‑focused approach
