Three / Two Split
I’m currently working with a highly regarded national practice seeking to appoint a Property Litigation Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) into their expanding Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate to join a modern, well‑structured commercial practice with high‑quality work and clear progression pathways.
The RoleThis position offers a 70/30 split between commercial and residential property litigation
, with a strong emphasis on complex commercial real estate disputes. You’ll be joining a supportive national team known for its technical excellence, collaborative culture, and impressive client base across sectors including retail, development, investment, and asset management.
- Running a broad caseload of commercial property disputes
, including: - Lease renewals (1954 Act)
- Dilapidations
- Forfeiture and possession
- Rent and service charge disputes
- Breach of covenant
- Landlord and tenant advisory work
- Handling a smaller caseload of residential property disputes
, often on behalf of institutional landlords or portfolio clients. - Managing matters from instruction through to resolution, including mediation, settlement negotiations, and litigation.
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, notices and advice notes.
- Working closely with the wider Real Estate and Commercial Litigation teams.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships; involvement in networking and BD initiatives is encouraged.
- Supervising and supporting junior team members where appropriate (depending on PQE).
- Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years PQE in property litigation.
- Strong grounding in commercial landlord & tenant law; exposure to residential disputes is beneficial but not essential.
- Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate support.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills, with a commercial, solutions‑focused approach.
- Keen to grow your expertise and progress within a national team.
- Team player with strong client‑care skills and a proactive attitude.
