Key Responsibilities
- Handle fast track and small claims RTA files.
- Deal with all procedural matters from issue through to trial.
- Assess claims for special damages.
- Draft all pleadings.
- Demonstrate the ability to value personal injury using JC Guidelines and case law.
- Negotiate settlement where appropriate using persuasive arguments.
- Have strong telephone negotiation skills.
- Prepare witness statements for use in court proceedings, taken via telephone call or video call.
- Liaise with other professionals such as claimant’s solicitors, counsel, courts, brokers, policyholders and insurer clients.
- Have strong organisation skills and be able to use a case management system.
- Ensure all Management Information is completed timely and accurately.
- Adhere to client SLA requirements for reporting and updates.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Minimum of 2+ years of previous experience running an RTA caseload.
