Employment Lawyer – Sports & Media | 1-4 PQE

Our client, a market-leading law firm specialising in the football and sports industry, is seeking a talented employment lawyer to join their expanding team.

This is a rare chance to work at the highest level of sports law, advising an impressive client base including the majority of Premier League clubs, numerous EFL clubs, and other major stakeholders across football and sport.

You’ll handle high-quality, varied employment work spanning both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:

• Drafting and negotiating service agreements for high-profile managers, coaches, players, and senior executives
• Football transfers, transactional documentation, and regulatory matters
• Employment disputes before Employment Tribunals, Premier League arbitration forums, and FA proceedings
• Advisory work across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and immigration matters
• Cross-sector employment issues in sports and media

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1-4 years' PQE (exceptional candidates outside this range considered)
• Solid employment law experience, both contentious and non-contentious
• Employment Tribunal experience desirable but not essential
• Sports/media sector experience beneficial but not required
• Excellent academics and communication skills
• Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach to business development
• Collaborative team player able to work flexibly to tight deadlines
