This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Legal 500 international and national law firm, in the firm’s Manchester office. The firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Associate or Managing Associate to join its market-leading Financial Services Disputes & Investigations team.

The Financial Services Disputes & Investigations team is one of the largest in the UK, comprising over 150 lawyers across multiple offices across the country. The team is top-ranked by Chambers outside London for financial services litigation with core areas of work including but not limited to high-value and complex bank litigation, professional negligence claims, investment litigation, international disputes and regulatory fraud matters.

The

Candidate
  • Experience insolvency litigation with 6 years’ PQE
  • Strong experience managing a caseload of financial litigation or property litigation
  • Ideally experienced in secured lending litigation, mortgage repossession or complex title rectification
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers is desirable
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Proactive and driven with enthusiasm and flexibility
  • Experience or exposure to business development with the ability to maintain strong client relationships
