Associate​/Solicitor; PQE; Motor Crime; Regulatory Crime

We’re looking for a lawyer with experience in defending motor crime investigations and prosecutions to join our specialist Regulatory Crime Department in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, market-leading team within a top 20 international law firm, recognised in the Legal 500 for its expertise in Motor Crime.

You’ll work on a high-quality, often high-profile caseload, representing clients across England & Wales—from early police investigations through to trial.

• Death by dangerous or careless driving
• Serious injury by careless driving
• Careless driving offences
• Drink driving, speeding, no insurance

You’ll gain exposure to:

• Criminal court proceedings
• Coroners’ Court work
• Complex cases supported by leading experts and King’s Counsel

We’re open to a wide range of candidates, including:

• NQ Solicitors, Legal Executives, and experienced lawyers (all PQE levels)
• Defence or prosecution backgrounds

You’ll ideally have:

• Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System (England & Wales)
• Experience with or exposure to motoring offences
• Strong communication and client-handling skills
• A proactive, resilient approach in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel nationally (full UK driving licence essential)
• Advocacy experience is beneficial but not required.
