You’ll work closely with Planning and Purchasing teams to ensure parts are delivered on time, enabling your team to keep production flowing efficiently.

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll lead by example, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement across your area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production activities in line with customer demand and backlog.
  • Work collaboratively with internal Planning and Purchasing teams to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Maintain accurate build and test instructions, ensuring internal processes run smoothly.
  • Use data‑driven insights to support decision‑making, including daily SQDCP reporting.
  • Actively participate in tier meetings, contributing to problem‑solving and process improvements.
  • Uphold 5S housekeeping standards and promote an organised, efficient work environment.
  • Implement efficiency improvements and address design, infrastructure, or process‑related issues.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders and the Health & Safety Manager to address safety needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and supporting a team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Confidence in using data to guide decisions and reporting.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of lean management techniques.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or leading a team.
  • Practical experience of following and applying health and safety standards.
The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have an ability and willingness to train and coach others.
  • Collaborate within a team, providing direction and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Have a basic understanding of supply chain processes.
