MOT Tester
£15.43 per hour
Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Working hours: 7am to 4.45 Monday to Friday with 1 rest day every week

We are currently recruiting for a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy and professional team.
This role involves carrying out Taxi Compliance Tests (in lieu of MOTs) to ensure vehicles meet required safety and licensing standards. You will play a key role in maintaining public safety by ensuring all vehicles comply with council regulations.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

• Conduct taxi compliance tests to required standards
• Inspect Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicles
• Identify and report mechanical faults and compliance issues
• Ensure all testing documentation is completed accurately
• Work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment

• Valid MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 minimum)
• Previous experience in vehicle testing or mechanical inspection
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• £15.43 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekends
• 37 hours per week
