Catering Assistant

Salary: £24,539 FTE per annum

Contract: Fractional (32.5 hours per week), Permanent, Term‑Time Only (38 weeks per year)

We are looking for a flexible team‑player to join our Refectory Team. The role will include preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and snacks to students and staff, as well as cleaning and washing up.

Core working hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 2.30pm (32.5 hrs). We require one day to finish at 1.30pm and one to 3.30pm. A degree of flexibility, overtime ability and occasional weekend work are essential.

Qualifications:

Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. The post holder must have or be prepared to work toward a Level 2 hygiene certificate.
