Location:

Salary: £34,300 per annum.

- Lead the maintenance function, providing reactive and proactive multi‑skilled service for all operational equipment and hotel infrastructure.
- Plan, schedule, and ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
- Improve site operational effectiveness, project delivery, and reduce equipment failure and room downtime.
- Implement improvement plans, drive KPIs, and ensure HSE compliance.
- Manage continuous improvement of maintenance services, recommending changes where necessary.
- Use resources efficiently to ensure maintenance completion.
- Identify potential lifecycle deficiencies and produce capital budgets to match life expectancies.
- Act as operational facilities manager, linking the hotel, manager, regional technical teams, and UK technical services.
- Serve as main point of contact for maintenance emergencies outside normal working hours, including attending the hotel when required.
- Maintain a high‑quality guest experience, protect hotel’s reputation and physical assets.
- Formal qualification in Mechanical, HVAC, or Electrical engineering.
- 3 years of hotel maintenance experience.
- H&S trained (IBOSH), with ability to read and write risk assessments.
- Energy management knowledge.
- Basic Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency.
- Budget planning for CAPX & OPEX cost controls.
- Basic plumbing knowledge and ability to fix bathroom leaks, replace flush tanks, and replace toilet bowls.
- Electrical knowledge.
- Painting and decoration skills.
The hotel offers 210 rooms (standard, double, twin, triple) and a continental breakfast with a 24/7 restaurant menu.
Understanding guest experience is key; one‑night stay will be offered for new hires to experience the service first‑hand.
