About the Role

Lounge Cleaner - Part Time at Manchester Airport Terminal 1

We are hiring to join Sodexo Live! as a lounge cleaner supporting the lounge environment and guest experience.

• Rate of Pay : £13.90 per hour
• Part Time Casual Role

A. Lounge Area

• Ensure that the lounge and seating area is clean, with chairs and tables arranged per the lounge plan, prior to and after lounge opening times.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness during operating hours.
• Clear and clean tables.
• Spot clean cupboards, tables, desks and other furniture and fittings.
• Vacuum recessed areas in upholstered furniture.
• Dust all surfaces, fittings, frames, signage and furniture below two metres.
• Dust and spot clean all skirting.
• Spot clean walls, doors and paintwork; dust wall surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets and pay attention to corners; clean and wipe chairs and sofas.
• Clean and polish hard floor surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize telephones and computers and other office equipment as needed.
• Dust ceiling air vents.
• Empty waste bins, wipe clean and replace liners as required.

B. Lounge Area (Vanity and Toilets)

• Wash and clean all vanity areas, shower receptacles and toilets using approved methods and cleaning products.
• Ensure toilet bowls and shower rooms are clean and tidy.
• Clean shower areas after guests have vacated so they are ready for the next use.
• Ensure that adequate supplies of combs, hand towels, dental and shaving kits are displayed neatly at the vanity area.
• Replenish towels as necessary.
• Top up hand wash, lotion, shampoo gel, and conditioner dispensers regularly.
• Clear laundry baskets of used towels.
• Empty garbage bins regularly.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment safely at all times.

C. Kitchen Help

• Operate the dishwasher; load and unload crockery, cutlery, trays and other items.
• Thoroughly clean the dishwasher at the end of each shift.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping counters, etc.
• Empty waste bins and move to collection point; wipe and replace bin liners.

D. Others

• Report any incidents or irregularities to the Line Supervisor or Manager.

Essential

• Previous cleaning experience is a must
• Highly motivated
• Attention to detail
• Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
