- Salary: £42,359.67 Per Year
- Shift Pay Uplift: 20% for shift workers
- Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday
- Driving Licence: desirable
- Location: Wythenshawe Hospital, Southmoor Road, Wythenshawe, M23 9LT
- Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing

We are seeking a reliable and responsive professional with a strong background in HVAC and Building Management Systems to support our mechanical team in delivering exceptional maintenance services. The successful candidate will possess proven experience in diagnosing, fault rectification, and ensuring the efficient operation of systems such as boiler controls, air handling units, chillers, and heating and DHW systems.

What You’ll Do:- Manage and monitor BEMS and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and maintain environmental conditions within hospital facilities.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues, alarms, and faults, providing effective technical diagnosis and fault finding support.
- Carry out regular system checks, logging observations, faults, and performance data, and record all system changes accurately.
- Work on installed building services systems, including undertaking training on new techniques, legislation, and passing on knowledge to team members.
- Participate in on call rotas and respond to emergency maintenance needs across multiple hospital sites.
- Assist in the planning and execution of small projects, including producing specifications, obtaining quotations, and raising orders.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, following relevant health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and permit to work procedures.
- Provide technical support, diagnostics, and fault resolution for HVAC and building services systems, working independently or as part of a team.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Electrical, HVAC and Mechanical Engineering
- Willing to learn and go on courses to add to current qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or large, complex sites is an advantage, but not essential.
- Proven experience in a mechanical, HVAC and Electrical environment
- A good working knowledge of health and safety regulations
- A practical, reliable approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
