DescriptionPriory Hospital Cheadle is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week

Working days and hours
- Monday and Tuesday , Wednesday and Sunday 9 am-3 pm
Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal, Stockport is an inpatient mental health service for young people and adults. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes along Wilmslow Road and Cheadle Hulme and East Didsbury railway stations approximately 1–2 miles from the service.
What you’ll be doingWe’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. As part of the role, you will:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Follow cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required

What you'll bring to the roleOur work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
