Multi-Site Maintenance Supervisor​/Caretaker

Part-time maintenance and caretaking post across the Glendinning and Torlands Academies, run by Wave Multi Academy Trust and sitting within its Estates Team. The role covers planned and reactive upkeep of the buildings and grounds, from routine checks to hands-on repairs and contractor oversight. It suits someone with a passion for working with young people with additional needs and practical experience of trades such as plumbing and electrics.

Visa sponsorship is not available, and the post requires an enhanced DBS check.

• Organise and carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the sites
• Keep buildings safe, compliant and in good working order
• Carry out routine checks and essential repairs
• Carry out hands-on building work across a range of trades
• Supervise contractors
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Apply Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
• Manage risks across the sites
• Maintain site security
• Maintain grounds and external areas
• Interact professionally with staff and visitors
• Contribute to the wider Estates Team

• Practical experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drainage, lock fixing, and painting and decorating
• Diverse experience of building maintenance tasks
