Senior Property Manager - Block Management

Base pay range

Due to ongoing growth, Stevenson Whyte seeks to strengthen our team with a Senior Property Manager to care for medium‑large developments (circa 500–700 units) and manage a team of 35, primarily focused on building management. Candidates should have at least five years of prior experience as a Block Property Manager, preferably handling large estates and high‑rise buildings, and having experience with cladding remediation.

Day‑to‑day

duties
  • Oversee the smooth running of the portfolio.
  • Attend and prepare for regular meetings with residents and directors.
  • Conduct routine inspections and schedule maintenance.
  • Chair and minute meetings, and take actions resulting from them.
  • Budget and financial control – using our system as a key tool.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Resolve queries received on the portfolio.
  • Help acquire new business (where commission can also be earned).
  • Assist with complaints handling.
Ideal traits
  • Excellent knowledge of financial administration (service charge accounting).
  • Effective numeracy and data entry skills.
  • Experience in handling cladding replacement work/building safety fund applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and grasp the urgency of departmental activities.
  • Experience in managing staff.
  • TPI level 3.
