Family Court Officer

Job Description:

IMH Recruitment are seeking an experienced Family Court Disclosure Supervisor to join our client’s Criminal Records Unit in Manchester, M40.

About the Role:

* Supervise a team of 15 staff within the Family Court Disclosure Team.

* Manage performance, provide feedback, and support staff development.

* Ensure disclosure work for family court cases is completed accurately and on time.

* Create and provide performance data for the Unit Manager and Head of Branch.

* Attend court and liaise with police and external agencies as required.

* Maintain compliance with data protection, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.

* Hybrid working available after training; office attendance required for key tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience supervising staff in an administrative/clerical environment.

* Strong performance management, mentoring, and coaching skills.

* Knowledge of family court or legal processes is beneficial but not essential.

* Competent with IT systems, including Microsoft Office.

* Ability to handle sensitive information professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* GCSE or equivalent, or relevant work experience.

* Experience in a Criminal Records Unit or similar environment.

* Knowledge of disclosure, child protection, and care proceedings policies.

* A DBS check may be required.

* A Full UK Driving licence is preferable but not essential.

Hours & Pay:

* Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.

 * £17.30 Per Hour.

* Weekly Pay via Agency
