Project Manager – High-End Retail Fit Out (National Role)

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a major Tier 1 main contractor delivering premium, high-end retail fit out projects across the UK. This is a nationwide role, ideally suited to candidates based in Manchester or London, with all travel and accommodation expenses fully covered. The position is permanent and offers long-term stability with a strong pipeline of work.

This role requires proven experience delivering high-end retail fit out projects. Applicants must have previous experience working on schemes for major retailers such as M&S, Waitrose, Selfridges or similar premium retail environments. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

You will be responsible for the full delivery of high-end retail fit out projects from pre-construction through to completion. This includes managing site teams, programmes, subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

The role involves managing multiple projects nationally and working closely with clients, consultants and senior management.

Experience required:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within high-end retail or commercial fit out

Essential experience delivering projects for M&S, Waitrose, Selfridges or equivalent

Experience working for a Tier 1 or large main contractor

Ability to manage fast-track, high-specification projects

Comfortable working in a national, travel-based role

Certifications required:

Valid CSCS

SMSTS

First Aid at Work

National role with regular UK travel

Manchester or London base preferred
