The Opportunity

An established global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead operational teams responsible for client processing and transaction support within a regulated environment.

This is a senior leadership role focused on operational excellence, strategic delivery, people management, and continuous improvement across client-focused processing functions. You will play a key role in enhancing service delivery, driving efficiency, and ensuring strong governance and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage teams responsible for client processing operations and service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to service standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve complex operational and client issues.
  • Monitor team performance against strategic objectives and client expectations.
  • Support the delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and coach team members, fostering a high-performance and growth-focused culture.
  • Promote continuous learning, development, and effective collaboration across teams.
  • Take ownership of operational performance, talent management, and team outcomes.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven leadership experience within financial services operations, ideally Corporate Trust or Conventional Trust.
  • Strong people management and team development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational change.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory environments and risk management practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with digital tools and operational technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
