This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced apprenticeship quality professional to take ownership of inspection outcomes at scale, leading quality strategy across a high-volume, complex apprenticeship portfolio within a high-performing UK university.

LT Selection is recruiting exclusively for a high-performing UK university with an Outstanding apprenticeship provision. This is a senior opportunity to lead apprenticeship quality at scale, coach teams, strengthen systems, and protect inspection outcomes as provision continues to grow.

University experience is NOT essential.

• High volume apprenticeship provision experience is essential - 1000+
• Senior higher-level apprenticeship quality experience is desirable.

• Leading apprenticeship quality strategy, SAR and improvement planning
• Driving inspection readiness and assurance across provision
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, DfE and OfS frameworks
• Coaching academic and support teams to sustain outstanding outcomes
• Reducing risk and enhancing the full apprentice journey

• Apprenticeships unit: c.100 staff
• Quality team: 3 (1 full-time QM, 1 part-time QM, 1 Quality Administrator)
• Two direct reports
• Largest programme areas:
  Digital & Technology, Chartered Manager, Social Worker

• Senior leadership in apprenticeship quality / compliance / assurance
• Confident with the current inspection framework and regulatory expectations
• Strong stakeholder influence at senior level
• Coaching mindset (not just auditing)
• Inspector experience welcome, but not required
