The projectMace is engaging in potential new opportunities in Lancashire within the defence sector and is coming to market early to understand expressions of interest for roles. These include Project and Programme Management, Project Control, Cost and Commercial, Health and Safety, Security and other key delivery areas.
Given the nature of the programmes individuals will need to meet the following criteria:
- Hold or able to obtain security clearance to a minimum of SC.
- UK national - those with dual nationality will not, at this time be considered.
- Hold relevant industry experience for roles.
- Defence experience is preferable.
- Construction experience is desirable.

You’ll Be Responsible For- Promoting inclusive behaviours and support quality systems across projects.
- Assisting delivery from inception to construction, ensuring timely outputs.
- Managing tasks, risks and budget awareness to support sustainable delivery.
- Building strong relationships with consultants and teams.
- Applying best practice through active networking.
- Upholding Mace values and drive positive impact.
- Managing project elements independently with oversight.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Experience in project management, ideally in a property or infrastructure sector.
- A developing knowledge of commercial and financial considerations.
- Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
