Programme Manager – Lead Complex Change at Scale
This role is hybrid and can be based at either one of the following locations:
Manchester, Southport, Stoke, Peterborough or Portsmouth.

We're looking for a dynamic Programme Manager to join Markerstudy, one of the UK's leading insurance brokers. This is your chance to take the reins of complex, multi-project programmes and lead a high-performing team to success.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Define, lead, and deliver large-scale programmes (5–10 projects, £1m–£10m budgets)
- Work closely with senior execs to shape programmes from idea to execution
- Lead and develop a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers
- Own the full programme lifecycle: scope, plan, resource, budget, risks, governance, and benefits
- Use Agile, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies to deliver rapid and safe change
- Champion continuous improvement across the Programme Delivery function
- Act as a trusted advisor and change leader across brands within the Group
- Proven track record delivering complex programmes with interdependent projects in a change environment
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross‑functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management – confident influencing at C‑suite level
- Expertise in programme governance, controls, financial management, risk handling
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Lean, and traditional PM methodologies
- Experience working in virtual teams and navigating ambiguity
- Insurance or financial services experience
- Formal programme management qualification
